TUBAUGH, Harley Alfred, 73, of Ravenna, Ohio, passed away from an extended illness on Thursday, January 3, 2008.
Born December 17, 1934, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Carl and Lela (Jackson) Tubaugh.
Harley was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War; and a member of the Ravenna Church of Christ, where he served as a Deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lela E. Tubaugh and Alice R. Lallathin; brothers, Harry E. Tubaugh and Richard G. Tubaugh; and five great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Dauline (Swallie) Tubaugh; daughters, Patricia (Stephen) Rader of Ravenna, Penny Tubaugh of Ravenna, and Kathleen (Warren) Lockhart of Rootstown; three grandchildren, Harley (Heather) Rader of Ravenna, Mandy (Daniel) Zickefoose of Cuyahoga Falls, and Evan Lockhart of Rootstown; and brother, Carl Tubaugh, Jr. of Deerfield.
Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main Street, Ravenna, with a funeral service officiated by Minister Terry Smith to follow.
Friends may also call one hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service on Monday at the West Union Church of Christ in Sardis.
Interment will follow with military honors in the West Union Church of Christ Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the West Union Cemetery Association, Inc., P.O. Box 155, Sardis, OH 43946, or to your favorite charity.
