Schumacher of Austin, a bookkeeper, was today at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin, with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating. Burial was in St. Peter's Cemetery in Rose Creek. Miss Schumacher, 77, died Friday (Aug. 14, 1998) at Adams Health Care Center in Adams. She was born March 5, 1921, in Lyle. She graduated from St. Augustine High School and was a bookkeeper at Wheeler Coal Co. and Schmitz Electric. Survivors include a sister, Lucy Schottler of Austin.
