Birth: Mar. 6, 1916 Death: Aug. 19, 1994 OBITUARY- ADAMS -- Services for Edward Klapperich, of rural Adams, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams, with the Rev. Gregory Leif officiating. Internment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Mr. Klapperich, 78, died Friday (Aug. 19, 1994) at his home. He was born March 6, 1916, in Meyer, Iowa, and attended school in the Meyer area. Me married Mary Schmit on Nov. 26, 1939. The couple farmed in Meyer, and then in the Taopi, Rose Creek and Adams areas in Minnesota. Mr. Klapperich was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include two daughters, Doris (Mrs. Darrell) Knutson of Rochester and Bonnie (Mrs. Robert) Lammers of Eagan, Minn.; two sons, Larry of Adams and Donald of Burnsville, Minn.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Art of Meyer, Iowa; and two sisters, Anna Marie Steffen of St. Cloud, Wis., and Martha Briester of Fond Du Lac, Wis. Mr. Klapperich was preceded in death by his wife. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Adams Funeral Home, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday.
