George Boul, retired farmer, died at 8 o'clock this morning, several days after his eighty-eighth birthday, in his home on Caseyville road, Rural Route No. 3, St. Clair Township.
Death resulted from his advanced age.
Mr. Boul was a well-known farmer in this vicinity, having resided here all his life. Born in Stookey Township on April 8, 1948, he was a son of Christostamus and Mary Boul, nee Dahm, early settlers of Stookey Township. His father, a native of New York [incorrect: he was a native of Alsace Lorraine, France], died at the age of 96, while his mother, who was born in Alsace Lorraine [incorrect; she was a native of Germany], was 89 at the time of her death.
Mr. Boul married Mrs. Julia Soulsby in French Village on April 26, 1881. She died on December 4, 1914.
Surviving are two step-children, Miss Ephriam Soulsby of Rural Route No. 3, and W. H. Soulsby of De Soto, Mo.
