THE PERU REPUBLICAN OBITUARY
VOLPERT, CLEM - 80 years old, died at 9:40 p.m. Friday, May 23, 1990 in Parkview Hospital, Plymouth, following an illness of one week. He was the brother of Joe Volpert of Peru. Born March 11, 1900 in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of John and Mary (Spitznagle) Volpert. He married Huldah Beyler in South Bend May 12, 1927, and she survives. He was a retired merchant in Plymouth and a member of the Eagles and Elks lodges there. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Morrow of Indianapolis. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with the Rev. Thomas Doriot officiating. Burial will be in the Plymouth Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
