Alice Graf, 87, Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND.
Alice Luella Webber was born April 12, 1919 at Fulda, MN, the daughter of William John and Irma (Vandenberge) Webber. At age 5, she moved with her family to Butler, MN where she began school. A few years later, the family moved to Absaraka, ND and later to the Page, ND area where she completed her schooling.
On December 12, 1939, she married Alvin Graf at Page, ND and they moved to Medina, ND where they operated Graf Standard Station until 1942 when they moved to Carrington, ND where Alvin worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad. In 1947, they moved to Fargo, ND and in 1949 to Jamestown, ND where they lived until 1969. In 1969, they returned to Fargo, ND where they lived until Alvin's retirement in 1978, when they moved to Medina, ND. In 1994 they moved to Jamestown, ND.
Alice was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Medina, ND and later, The Basilica Of St. James in Jamestown, ND; the VFW Auxiliary, Fargo, ND and the American Legion Auxiliary, Jamestown, ND.
She loved bowling, golf, gardening, cooking and sharing her baked goods with neighbors.
Survivors include her husband and a brother, Vincent Webber, Fargo, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dennis; 1 brother and 2 sisters.
Funeral – Saturday, September 30, 2006 at The Basilica of St. James, Jamestown, ND
Interment – Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
