Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, IL, 61938, with Biblical Wake beginning at 5:00 p.m. and Rosary service at 7:00 p.m.Mrs. Stuckey was born March 13, 1923, in Island Grove, IL, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Meinhart) Emmerich. She married Nicholas C. Stuckey in Island Grove in 1952. He survives. Other survivors include three brothers, Oliver W. Emmerich, Ralph Emmerich, and Charles "Bob" Emmerich, all of Wheeler, IL; and one sister, Theresa Willenborg of Decatur, IL. She was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.Mrs. Stuckey retired from General Electric after 35 years of employment and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Mattoon, IL. She cherished her large extended family and very much enjoyed family gatherings.
