Noverna Deloris (Reiner) Herr, 90

Funeral services for Noverna D. Herr were held May 6 at Peace Christian Reformed Church in Menno, with the Rev. Steve Moerman officiating.
Burial was in the Menno Cemetery, with Aisenbrey-Opsahl-Kostel Memorial Chapel, Menno, in charge of arrangements.
Noverna Deloris Herr was born June 26, 1925, to Emil E. and Otilda (Gramm) Reiner. She was baptized July of 1925 by the Rev. Krueger and confirmed April 30, 1939, by the Rev. K.J. Stuebbe in Tripp at the Freedom Reformed Church.
She went to grade school at the Rublin School in the county of Bon Homme and to Tripp High School.
On July 20, 1943, she married Edmund Herr by the Rev. Grether.
She belonged to Peace Christian Reformed Church of Menno and was a member of the Ladies Aid and Bible study. She was a store clerk at Ed’s Food Market for 24 years.
Due to failing health, she entered the Menno-Olivet Care Center January of 2007 and resided there until her death.
She died Sunday, May 1, at the Menno-Olivet Care Center, Menno. She attained the age of 90 years.
She is survived by her three sons, Delven (Barbara), Bristol, Indiana, Delray, Keystone Heights, Florida, and Glen (Janet), DeRidder, Louisiana.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Meta Herr, Tripp.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund; parents; and two brothers, Arland and Delmer.
