Birth: Jul. 27, 1972 Death: Nov. 29, 2014 Alex Craig, 42 of Belpre, Ohio passed away at his residence. He was born July 27, 1972 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of James Craig of Huntsville, NC and the late Carole Lewis Craig. Alex was a 1990 graduate of Belpre High School, a 1995 graduate of Ohio State University earning his bachelor degree, and received his master's degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He had a 19 year career as a welding engineer with Thermo-Fischer Scientific in Marietta, Ohio, Delphi Automotive in Dayton, Ohio, and Caterpillar in Decatur, Illinois. In addition to his father he is survived by his brother, Alan Craig of Belpre, Ohio; his special friend, Angela Faugl of Parkersburg, W.Va.; his aunts, Jean D'Addario, Margaret Yarrington, Rebecca Lister (Skip), and Vicki Lewis; his uncle, Don Craig (Peggy); and cousins, Yeric Yarrington, Jeff Lister, Karen Gabriel, Craig Carlson, and Kristen Craig. Alex was preceded in death by his mother, Carole Craig in April 2013; maternal grandparents, Garland and Hazel Lewis; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lois Craig; and one uncle, Paul Lewis. Memorial services will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at St. Marks United Methodist Church, Belpre, Ohio with Reverend David Hubbard officiating. Private burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre is assisting the family with arrangements.
