Full Obituary: Adele Rubida passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 6, 2012. Adele was born on October 18, 1926 to Freda and Edward Opheim of Mound City, SD. She married Ralph Rubida on June 28, 1949 who preceded her in death May 1st, 2011. Adele is survived by four children, Susan (Larry) Kellar of Mound City, Alan (Diana) Rubida of Yuma, AZ, Roxane (Perry) Schnaible of Sioux Falls, SD and Mark Jay Rubida of Java, SD. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, Mark, Jason, Starla, Caleb, and Kade Kellar, John and Matthew Schnaible and Katelyn and Amanda Rubida; and 6 great grand children. She is also survived by her sister Carol Wickham and sister-in-law Carmelita (Anthony) Portello, sister-in-law Jean Opheim and several nieces and nephews. Prayer services are Friday November 9 at 7:00 pm and funeral services Saturday November 10 at 2:00 pm at Bethany Lutheran Church in rural Selby.
