Full Obituary: In Memory ofBarbara Joan CockerillAugust 18, 1939 - January 31, 2015Obituary Barbara Joan Cockerill, 75, of Idaho Falls and Pocatello died Saturday, January 31, 2015 after a long hard battle with lung and heart disease. She was born on August 18, 1939 in Binghamton, New York the only child to Robert Patrick and Joan Mary Agnes Huth Ryan. Barbara grew up in Binghamton, New York attending Catholic school during the school year and in the convent with the nuns during the summer as both her parents worked. She married Gerald Cockerill in June of 1960. They had three daughters, Deborah Ann, Dianne Marie and Donna Lynn. Barbara worked at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in the Dietary Department for many years. She received numerous personal letters from families thanking her for the kindness she showed to their loved ones.Barbara's greatest love was her family. She gave her all to her family and never wavered in her love for each of them. She will always be remembered for her sweet disposition and loving smile.Survivors include her daughters Deborah Ann Gross (Pocatello) and Donna Lynn Johnson, her grandchildren, Robert Patrick (Amanda Schuldt) Cockerill, Tyler John Cockerill and Billi Jean North and her great grand daughters, Sarayi Alta Cockerill and NoElly Marie Garcia-Rodriguez (all of Idaho Falls). She is also survived by many non-blood children and grandchildren. She loved it when they all called her GMa.She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Dianne Marie Clark and granddaughter Jammi Jennifer Ryan.Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls, with Deacon Christopher Reilly, celebrant. Burial will follow at Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, from 10:00 " 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
