Marjorie M. Weyrauch
ROSEBOOM _ Marjorie May Weyrauch, age 82, of Farmingdale, formerly of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at the home of her daughter, Linda Kiesow in Roseboom, she had the comfort of her loving family by her side.
She was born on June 30, 1929, in Middletown, daughter of the late John and Gladys Henderson Priest. Marjorie was raised in Middletown and was a graduate of Middletown High School.
She was married to Clifford J. Weyrauch, who preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1974. For more than 30 years Mrs. Weyrauch worked as a nurse's aide at the Nassau County Medical Center in Hempstead, Long Island, and was also in charge of party arrangements at the Farmingdale Knights of Columbus.
Marjorie had a strong belief in God and led a devoted Catholic life. She was a member of Saint Killian's Catholic Church in Farmingdale. In her leisure time she enjoyed going to the beach and shopping. She found great relaxation knitting, crocheting, doing crafts and gardening. To all who knew her, she was a caring, loving and hopeful person, who found much joy in doing for others while wanting nothing in return. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and family especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Kennedy of Cooperstown, Linda Kiesow of Roseboom; two sisters, Jean Peters and her husband, Donald of Lindenhurst, L.I., Marion Dzierzek of Saratoga; four grandchildren, Lisa Shaffer and her husband, Ben of Roseboom, Kristin Kane and her husband, Shawn of Richfield Springs, Rebecca Kennedy of Oneonta, Kimberly Russell and her husband, Mark of the Bahamas; two great-grandchildren, Daniel Kane and Curtis Shaffer; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents; and husband, Clifford, she was predeceased by a brother, Jack Priest; three sisters, Sue McConnell, Gladys Dineen and Julia Diamond.
Calling hours for Mrs. Weyrauch will be from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday in J. Seaton McGrath Funeral Home, 40 West James St., Richfield Springs.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Church, Middletown. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Middletown.
