Homer R. Lollo, 84, of Hampton, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, in St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Richland. He was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Sharpsburg to the late Homer H. and Dora (Lively) Lollo, of Sharpsburg, and also was predeceased by sisters Mary Seitz and Irene Lollo and brother William "Chick" Lollo. Mr. Lollo served in the Army for three years during World War II in China, Burma and the India Theater and was a member of VFW Post 709, Sharpsburg. Homer served Hampton for 50 years as a member and the communication officer of the North Hampton Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mildred (Smith) Lollo. They were married Feb. 14, 1948, and were married happily for 57 years. Loving father of Bonnie (Edward) Scheld, of Collier, and Roberta (Ralph) Miller, of Baldwin Borough. Brother of Mildred (Jean) Wiest, of Etna. Dearest Pap of Michael and Kristine Schelb and Scott and Matthew Miller. Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the HERBERT R. KING JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., 2841 Woodland Circle at Route 8, Hampton, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday. Interment with military honors will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
