Ann M. Kempf, age 78 of Celestine passed away at 11:24 p.m. Sunday (August 7, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born April 26, 1933 in Celestine to Frank and Bertha (Gehlhausen) Kluesner.
She married Arthur Kempf on April 24, 1954 in St. Celestine Catholic Church.
Ann was a homemaker and had worked part-time at the Celestine Post Office for many years. She also was a volunteer at the Dubois County Museum, active Religious Education Teacher for 43 years and RCIA instructor.
She is a member of St. Celestine Catholic Church ? St. Ann Sodality ? CRHP of St. Celestine Parish ? Recipient of the Brute Award of the Diocese of Evansville - Celestine Community Club ? German Club ? St. Vincent DePaul Society ? Friends of Dubois Library.
Her hobbies were quilting, card club , flower gardening and volunteering at church.

Funeral service for Ann Kempf will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (August 11, 2011) in St. Celestine Catholic Church with burial to follow in St. Celestine Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday (August 10, 2011) at the Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
Memorial contributions to St. Celestine Religious Education Program and St. Celestine Endowment Fund or a favorite charity.
