Gary Lee Feiock was born on September 13, 1947, in Faulkton, SD to William and Rose (Gabriel) Feiock. At a young age, Gary and his family moved to Aberdeen, where he attended St. Mary?s Parochial School and Aberdeen public schools.
Gary married Patricia Peterson on November 9, 1968, in Aberdeen. Together they had two daughters, Cristi and Stephanie. Gary worked at Dutch?s before beginning work in construction at Mohr?s Fencing and Mitzel Construction for many years, always taking pride in his work. When his health began to fail, Gary did maintenance work at The Adjustment Training Center and Northern State University, until retiring in 2010. He continued to make Aberdeen his home until the time of his death.
Gary truly enjoyed spending all the time he could with his granddaughters. He also enjoyed following Dirt Track racing as well as watching NASCAR races. Many trips were made to dirt tracks in the Midwest following his favorite drive, Pat Doar, #11.
Gary is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters, Cristi (Jeff) Grunendike and Stephanie Griese, and son-in-law, Doug Griese, all of Aberdeen; two granddaughters, Kyra Griese and Marisa Griese; and four brothers: Robert ?Jim? (Julie) Feiock, Andrew Feiock, Lyle Feiock and Don (Sherry) Feiock.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rose; and his brother, Virgil Feiock.
