Udell E. Kimmle, 87, of Mascoutah, IL, born Nov. 23, 1921 in O'Fallon, IL,
died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Mr. Kimmle was a retired grain and livestock farmer and also drove a
school bus for the Mascoutah School District for 26 years. He was a member
of St. John U.C.C., Mascoutah; Mascoutah Moose Lodge #815 and St. Clair
County Farm Bureau.
He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Kimmle, his parents, George and
Ida, nee Bernhardt, Metzger, Sr., a brother, George Metzger, Jr. and a
sister, Viola Freed.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel M., nee Laux, Kimmle whom he married in
O'Fallon, IL April 23, 1949, two sons, Udell "Harry" (Donna) Kimmle of
Mascoutah, IL and Dennis (Kathy) Kimmle of Mascoutah, IL; a
daughter-in-law, Gail Kimmle of Mascoutah, IL; nine grandchildren, Chad
Kimmle, Todd (Jill) Kimmle, Brian (Kristy) Kimmle, Scott Kimmle, Sean
(Lisa) Kimmle, Kelly Kimmle, Adam Kimmle, Matthew (Amber) Kimmle and
Nicholas (Danielle) Kimmle; three great-granddaughters, Gracie, Cheyanne
and Ava Kimmle; also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces
and nephews.

Visitation: friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 at
the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday,
Dec. 10, 2008 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL. There
will be a Moose Ritual 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Funeral: funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10,
2008 at St. John United Church of Christ in Mascoutah, IL with the Rev.
Hugh Fitz officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens
Cemetery.
