Rousseau of Merrill, Michigan, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at St. Mary's of Michigan. Age 77 years. Frank was born February 11, 1935 to the late Homer and Emma Rousseau of Saginaw, Michigan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Carol A. Rousseau; son, Patrick H. (Melissa) Rousseau; grandson, Adam W. Rousseau; also by his loving brother, Terre (Janet) Rousseau, and sister, Pauline Holtman; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Wayne F. Rousseau, twin grandchildren, Emma and Garrett Rousseau, and brothers, Joseph and Russell Rousseau. Frank served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, from 1952 until 1956. He retired from General Motors. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Adam. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 419 S. Midland Road, Merrill. Rev. Fr. Craig Carolan will officiate with military committal in St. Andrew Cemetery. His family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday where a Vigil service will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Friends and family may then call at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
