Hobert retired from Timken after 39 years and was the owner of Stephen Landscaping for 55 years. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 17 and he enjoyed hunting deer in his free time. Hobert is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Betty; children, Vicki (Richard) Burckhart, Ruth (Dale) Wheeler, Scotty (Deborah) Stephen, and Belinda Albery; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Following Hobert's wishes, he has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
