"Kenny" Mosbrucker, 76, Mandan, died Jan. 23, 2011, at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mandan, with the Rev. Patrick Schumacher celebrating. Burial will be at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Mandan VFW Post 707 and American Legion Post 40. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Buehler-Larson Funeral Home, Mandan, with a Knights of Columbus rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Kenny was born July 4, 1934, in Oliver County, to Martin and Eva (Barnhardt) Mosbrucker. He attended school through the eighth grade. In 1954, Kenny enlisted in the U.S. Army, receiving the Good Conduct and Marksman Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1956. On June 4, 1958, Kenny married Rosalee Erhardt in New Salem. They moved to Mandan, where he worked as a carpenter. He also owned rental properties. In 2000, he sold the properties and retired, finding great pleasure in going south for the winters. Kenny was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Eagles, Moose and Knights of Columbus. Husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Blessed to have shared his life is his wife of 52 years, Rosalee, Mandan; daughter, Lorie (John) Makelke, Dallas; three sons, Dean (Nimfa) and Brian, both of Mesa, Ariz., and Calvin (Lois), Mandan; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, LaVerne Huck, Mandan; and two brothers, Wilbert and Lyle, both of Center. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; son, David; and sister, Karen Geiger.
