Obituary for Rose Mosbrucker
Rose Mosbrucker, 96, Mandan, formerly of Center, North Dakota, passed away Monday, January 29, 2018 at CHI, St. Alexius Health, Bismarck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 3, 2018, at St. Martin?s Catholic Church, Center with Fr. John Guthrie officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin?s Catholic Cemetery, Center. Visitation is scheduled for 5-7:00 PM, with a Rosary/Vigil service beginning at 7:00 PM, Friday, February 2, 2018 at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church.
Rose was born November 26, 1921, at Yucca, North Dakota, to Leo and Barbara (Hoffman) Schneider. She was raised and educated in Yucca and attended Bremen School. On October 8, 1940, she married Tony Mosbrucker in Center. Rose worked for the US Post Office for two years, and volunteered with West River Transportation. She was famous for her quilt making, big gardens and flower beds. She enjoyed crocheting, pinochle, and cards.
She is survived by her three daughters, Alice (Ervin) Janke, Shirley (Larry) Bauer, all of Bismarck, and Sharon (Larry) Orgaard, Center; one son, Ron (Vivian) Mosbrucker, Bismarck; one sister, Margaret Renner, Laurel, Montana; Center; 11 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; and dog, Lassie.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tony of 74 years; four sisters, Eva, Monica, Francis, and Tina; seven brothers, Alex, Jack, Leo, Ray, George, Pete, and Joe Schneider; grandson, Ryan Mosbrucker; great-grandchildren, Emily Moon and Joey Bauer; and great-great-granddaughter, Nevaeh.
