Louise A. Ramuta
(nee Munch)
Age 89. At rest Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Sunny Hill Skilled Rehab Center. Born in Rockdale and a lifelong Joliet area resident. Retired from Pohlers Industrial Electric after 49 years of service. Member of the Ladies of the Moose Chapter #84 since 1935. Past member of the Joliet Business & Professional Womens Organization. Member of First Lutheran Church of Joliet, the Eleanor Circle and an avid Ladies Bowler for over 25 years.
Preceded by her husband William R. Ramuta (1966), her parents Charles H. and Anna (nee Miller) Munch; One sister Mildred (John R.) Ramuta; One brother in infancy, Carl Munch. Her stepfather Matthew McCarley and one step brother William McCarley Sr.
Survived by three step sisters, Margaret (Robert) Zobel of Joliet, Anna (Edwin) Huml of Matteson, IL, and Mary (George) Kurey of Oklahoma. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral Services for Louise A. Ramuta will be Wednesday, January 21, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Rev. Kathleen Flores officiating. Committal prayers at Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel with final interment at Hills of Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Lutheran Church of Joliet or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. at:
