MUNCH
WALTER SR.
Age 78 yeas. Of 2003 S. Hamilton, Lockport. May 24, 1976 at Silver Cross Hospital. Born September 21, 1897 in Joliet, Illinois. Has been a life long resident of Lockport. Before his retirement in October 1962 he was employed as an electrical foreman for Texaco Inc. for 43 years. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Lockport and the Texaco Retirees Social Club.
Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Charles and Alfred Munch. Survived by his wife Dorothey (Berlin) Munch, a daughter, Mrs. Lee (Marilyn) Skarin of California, two sons, Walter (Betty) Munch Jr. and Lloyd (Jacqueline) Munch both of Lockport, 10 grandchildren, one great grandchild, nieces and nephews. Funeral services at the Goodale Funeral Home, 9123 S. Hamilton, Lockport, Thursday, may 27 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. A. H. Breihan officiating. Interment services Woodlawn Memorial Chapel. Interment Hills of Rest Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Friends are requested to please omit flowers. Memorials to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Rebuilding Fund or the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
