Marie C. Osche, 90 of Cornetti Road, Butler, died Sunday at the Chicora Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 1, 1919, in Butler, the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Hesidence Thoma.
Marie retired in 1981 as a crew leader at the Butler County Mushroom Farm after 37 years.
She was a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center. Her favorite hobbies were gardening and camping.
Her husband, Joseph S. Osche, who she married May 22, 1959, preceded her in death on July 17, 1993.
Surviving are her son and his wife, Lloyd J. and Pauline Nyberg of Fenelton; one brother, Carl Thoma of Blairsville; one grandson; two step-grandaughters; three step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
OSCHE - Friends of Marie C. Osche, who died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Tuesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, Butler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Carbon Center. Internment will follow at St. Wendelin's Cemetery.
