Born March 27, 1919, in Butler, she was a daughter of Ross S. and Effie Ploof Covert. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, Gregory C. "Jack" Reott, whom she married Feb. 19, 1941; six daughters; a son; three brothers; and a sister. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, a brother and a sister. REOTT - Friends of Marie E. Reott, who died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Friday at the church. Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
