TREMONT - Ralph M. Dully, 71, of Pekin, formerly of Tremont died at 4 a.m. yesterday (Aug. 27, 1989) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.
His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Davis Mortuary, Tremont, the Rev. Marshall Werry officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary.
Mr. Dully was born Sept. 20, 1917, near Deer Creek, a son of Joseph and Mariette Gearen Dully. He married Marjorie Pinos Feb. 15, 1941, in Morton. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, James R., Pekin, and Frederick B., Peoria; two brothers, Earl Dully, East Peoria, and Floyd I. Dully, Southfield, Mich.; one sister, Myrtle Springer, Hopedale; and two granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mr. Dully was a member of the Tremont Baptist Church and Tremont Masonic Lodge.
He was a World War II Army veteran and served as a military policeman. He had worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co. in East Peoria for 42 years, retiring in 1980.
He had last worked as a service training instructor at the company.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Affiliate in care of Methodist Medical Center or to a charity of the donor's choice.
