Reetz, 53, Kansas City, Kansas, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rumsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Reetz died Wednesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He was born, December 14, 1926 in Fall Leaf, the son of William A. and Frieda (née Schwarz) Reetz. He attended Fall Leaf, Eudora and Lawrence public schools. He married Theora E. Lambert February 15, 1948, and she died May 7, 1976. He married Catherine Anna (née Senters) Henderson November 12, 1977. He was a grain farmer, and owned and operated Reetz and Sons Trucking. He lived near Fall Leaf, until 1967 when he and his family relocated to Tonganoxie. About 1 ½ years ago, he moved to Kansas City. He was a member of the Moose Lodge No. 555 of Topeka and the Elks Lodge of Bonner Springs and Sertoma Club of Tonganoxie. Survivors include his wife Catherine of the home, his mother Frieda Reetz, Fall Leaf, three sons, Kevin, Eudora, Stephen, Linwood, and Randy, Emporia; two step-sons, Rodney Henderson, Parkville, MO, and Joel Henderson, Kansas City, KS; a brother, Alvin Reetz, Rt. 4 Lawrence; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Neis, Eudora, Mrs. Lila Self, Hinsdale, IL, and Mrs. Lorene Cox, Linwood. He was preceded in death by his father, William Reetz in May 9, 1952.
