Birth: Mar. 15, 1929 Stillwater Payne County Oklahoma, USA Death: Dec. 9, 2008 Bartlesville Washington County Oklahoma, USA Ramona was raised west of Mutual and she attended all twelve grades at Mutual graduating from high school with the class of 1947. She furthered her education at Stevens College, a two year all girls school in Columbia, MO. She continued her higher education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater where she earned her bachelor's degree in Home Economics in 1953. That same year, she began her teaching career in Bartlesville where she taught for five years. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Karl Kragh, June 22, 1958 at the Mutual Methodist Church. Ramona taught school at Nichols Hills in Oklahoma City while Karl worked for OG&E. They moved to Mutual in 1963 where they continued to make their home and raise their only daughter, Karla Lee who blessed their home July 12, 1965. Ramona taught in the Woodward Elementary Schools until her retirement. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma teacher's sorority, Retired Teachers of Woodward County, and a lifetime member of OEA and NEA. She was a member of the Mutual Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter and a grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Karl, April 11, 2005. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Elm Grove Community Church with Pastor Ralph Dershem, officiating. Interment will follow in the Mutual Persimmon Cemetery under the direction of the Redinger Funeral Home in Seiling.
