•She died at Mt. Joseph Convent on the outskirts of Wheeling.
She is the daughter of Clement Walter Estep and Emma Mary (Frohnapfel) Estep.
Her siblings that died before her are: Eleanor (Estep) Front, Julian Nicholas Estep (d. 1979), Mary Virginia "Ginny" Estep (d. 1988), Rita (Estep) Nuzum and Thomas Estep.
She left behind a brother and his wife, nieces, nephews, cousins, Eleanor's widower and members of her religious community.
She entered the Congregation of St. Joseph on 6/24/1939; her 75th Jubilee in 2014.
She had earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from Duquesne University and her Master's degree from Notre Dame University.
For 12 years, she had been an educator and dedicated house parent at St. John's Home for Boys and St. Vincent's Home School; served in several diocesan elementary and secondary schools: Corpus Christi (Wheeling); Notre Dame H.S. (Clarksburg, WV); St. Joseph H.S. (Huntington, WV); and in Vienna at St. Joseph Preparatory Seminary.
For her congregation, a general councilor (1970-1976) and president of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Wheeling (1976-1982); patient representative at St. Francis Hospital in (Charleston, WV; 1983-2004).
