The Rev. Bill Damberg will officiate. Burial will be in the Venturia Baptist Cemetery, Venturia, ND. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Harold died October 30, 2012 at Wishek Home for the Aged in Wishek, ND. Harold Schnabel, son of Arthur and Bertha (Hoff) Schnabel was born July 19, 1925 on the family farm six miles east of Zeeland, ND. He was united in marriage to Esther Delzer on October 21, 1945 in Venturia, ND. Harold is survived by his wife Esther; daughter, Connie (LeRoy) Tysdal of Fergus Falls, MN; son, Wayne L. Schnabel of Hartford, SD; sister, Adella Backhaus of Dunnigan, CA; six granddaughters, Jessica Schnabel of Hartford, SD, Amber Schnabel-Biesch of Watertown, SD, Kyla Schnabel of Sioux Falls, SD, Kelsy Tysdal, Cassidy Tysdal and Shannon Tysdal, all of Fergus Falls, MN and two great-grandsons. His parents and one brother preceded him in death. Casketbearers will be Wayne Biesch, Mark Pfeifer, Milbert Dollinger, Jim Schnabel, Paul Goehring and Ray Goehring. The organist will be Jean Schnabel. Carlsen Funeral Home of Ashley has been entrusted with arrangements.
