Stephan, 73, of 5555 Sheridan rd., a retired executive, will be said at 11 a. m. Wednesday in St. Edith's church. Mr. Stephan, a spectator at the Notre Dame-Iowa football game Saturday at Iowa City, Ia., collapsed of an apparent heart attach and died in the stands. He was captain of the 1903 baseball team at Notre Dame, from which he was graduated in 1904. In 1940 he retired as vice president and treasurer of the Devoe-Raynolds Paint company. Surviving are his widow, Mary E.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert P. Russell; two sons, Edmund A. and Robert F.; 12 grandchildren, and three sisters."
