Frank Brooks
Honor man in his class of aircraft mechanics, Private First Class Frank N. Brooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Brooks, Center Street, Woodsfield, O., was graduated last week from the technical school here in the Army Air Forces Technical Training Command.
Pfc. Brooks was presented with a diploma bearing the signature of Major-General Walter R. Weaver, commanding general for the AAF TTC.
A graduate of Woodsfield High School, Pfc. Brooks was an aircraft engine inspector at Patterson Field, Fairfield, 0., until he was sworn into the service on October 6, 1942.
Pfc. Brooks has two brothers in the service, Lieut. Roman L. Brooks, U.S. Navy, of Boston, Mass., and Cpl. Paul A. Brooks, who is in North Africa.
According to word received by his parents, Frank has been promoted to Corporal and transferred to Chanute Field, Illinois. His new address is CpL Frank N. Brooks, 4th T.S. a. Barracks 139, Chanute Field, Rantoul, Illinois.
