Chuck was born in Wesley, Iowa and raised in the Algona area. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married Loraine Kiszonak on January 17, 1972. Chuck was retired from the Postal Service, he was an avid sports fan, he loved being around his family, playing cards, going to HyVee for coffee, and he always looked forward to the upcoming Iowa Cubs Baseball season. Chuck is survived by his son, Paul Heinen of West Des Moines, five sisters, Marlene Heinen of Algona, Joan (Dave) Ross of Waukee, Pat Smith of Algona, Cathy (Mike) Mosbach of Whittemore, and Mary (Pete) Wonders of Waukee, Iowa; four brothers - Ed (Jean) Heinen of Cherokee, Dick (Karen) Heinen of Johnston, John (Ann) Heinen of Urbandale and Mike (Carla) Heinen of Denver, CO. He was preceded in death by his wife, Loraine, parents, Charles Frank Heinen and Marie Odelia (Foertsch) Heinen, brothers, Leroy and Marvin Heinen, and his nephew, Mark Heinen.
