Rocco was a retired bus driver for the Hopewell School District and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. He was an Elder of the Aliquippa Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for over 50 years and also a Bible teacher. Rocco was a lover of music especially opera.
In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were three brothers, Frank, Paul and John Cianfaglione; four sisters, Florence Antonnelli, Stella DelTurco, Lucy Steven and Esther Cianfaglione, and a brother-in-law, Joe Hanich.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 49 years, Marian (Yeck) Cianfaglione; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Diane Hanich, Aliquippa, and Rosemarie and Cataldo Tomei, Monaca, and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
There will be no public visitation. Family and friends are welcome to attend a memorial service on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 4 p.m. at the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 132 Morrow Road, Aliquippa, Pa. 15001.
Donations may be made in memory of Rocco to the Congregation of Jehovah or to a charity of one's choice.
