He was a member of American Legion Post 241 and the Waynedale Lions Club. Surviving are his wife, Julia; daughters, Linda Chandler, Diane Thomas, and Ann Rosenquist; sons, Frank, Peter, Jeffrey, and Paul; sisters, Doloris Momper, Mary Margaret Frieburger, Bernice Brandenburg, and Thelma Wolf; a brother, Carl Voors of Fort Wayne; and 12 grandchildren.
