He was born on November 4, 1925 to the late John and Alvina (nee Ziegelbauer) in Hartford, WI. He married Lorraine (nee Obermeyer) on October 17, 1953 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Slinger, WI. Alfred worked at Chrysler for many years. He enjoyed woodworking and working in his workshop at home. Alfred is survived by his wife Lorraine, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Joan, and sisters Eva Jane Obermeyer and Loretta Hagen. A Mass of Christian Burial for Alfred will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2011 at St. Peters Catholic Church, 200 E. Washington St. in Slinger with Fr. Rick Stoffel presiding. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service (6:00 p.m.) on Friday, July 15th at CHURCH. Private interment will be held.
