Funeral services for Mrs. Anthony Hoffman, 77, will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, the Rev. H. L. McNallan officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. The rosary will be said Sunday at 2 and 8 p.m. at the Sellner Funeral Home, where friends may call from Sunday noon until the service.
Mrs. Hoffman died Friday noon at her home after a long illness. The former Mary Caroline Schlink, she was born in Germany April 18, 1875, and came to this country when a young girl. She had lived in the Rollingstone-Lewiston-St.Charles area since. She was married in 1904 to Matthew Hayertz, who died in 1918. In July 1920, she was married to Hoffman.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Andrew Lemmer, Minneiska; one son, Edwin Hayertz, Rochester; three sisters, Srs. Ann Theobalda, Milwaukee; M. Firma, Beaver Dam, Wis., and M. Infredia, Campbellsport, Wis.; five brothers, Andrew, Mike and Nick, Winona; Jacob, Rollingstone, and John, Minneiska, and eight grandchildren.
