  [S927] Obituary. Walter T. Schoeppner November 1, 1943 - February 17, 2011 Obituary Walter T. Schoeppner, age 67 of Jackson Township, passed away Thursday morning, February 17, 2011 in his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 1, 1943 in Canton, Ohio to the late Walter H. and Virginia M. (Johnson) Schoeppner. He was a construction developer for W.T. Schoeppner Construction Company. He was a member of St. Michael Parish, Glenmoor Country Club, Lake Cable Recreation Association, Knights of Columbus of Navarre, and Golf Club of the Everglades in Naples, FL. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Walter T. Schoeppner, Jr.; and sister, Shirley Givens. He is survived by his wife of nearly 49 years, Rhoda (Pyles) Schoeppner of the home; children, Carrie Devoll, John M. (Elisa) Schoeppner, and Christina M. (Eric) Davis, all of Jackson Township; daughter-in-law, Terri Schoeppner of Massillon; twelve grandchildren, Michael (Vanessa), Matthew, Allison, Robert, Amanda, Lindsay, Emma, Michael, Marisa, Kaitlyn, Christopher and Cody; sisters, Joyce (Don) Baker and Patricia (Dan) Williams; and brother, Dan (Nancy) Schoeppner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am on Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3430 St. Michael Dr. NW, Canton. Entombment in Sunset Hills Burial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call Sunday 1-4pm in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.
