She retired in 1982 from Ohio Bell Telephone Company after 38 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvah and Murial Vinson and her husband, Carl J. Schoeppner, Sr. Survivors include her son, Carl J. Schoeppner, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Cathy. A private graveside service for family was held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at St. Jacob's Cemetery where she was laid to rest. Reed Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
