Timothy Sipe, 57, Spearfish, SD died Saturday, July 26, 2014. Survivors include his partner, Denise Boblett; daughter, Celese Smith; brother, Fred (Joan) Sipe; sisters, Mary (Gary) Field, Reggie (Dave) Kinghorn and Edith Hooper. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Edith Sipe; brother, Mike Sipe and brother-in-law, Wayne Hooper. Tim worked with his dad plumbing, worked with Eldon Johnson doing carpentry. He attended Votech for one year majoring in electronics. Then employed by American Colloid driving heavy equipment. He then cut exotic meats for Native Game. Recently has been self employed, selling firewood and doing contract labor. He loved to fish, hunt, shoot, reload shells, boat, ride a snowmobile and pretty much anything to do with the outdoors. Tim liked to teach young people about gun safety and fishing. He was very patient with kids and would tell stories of taking nephews and his friends’ kids ice fishing and trolling in the boat. A Celebration of Life potluck will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Salem Park on 3rd and West Quincy Street in Spearfish. Honorary Pallbearers are Nick and Amber Robbins, Matt Boblett, Rolan Nakajima, Courtney Wells and Kirk Leichti. Please bring pictures, a lawn chair, stories to share and a dish to pass.
