  [S927] Obituary. Alta L. "Tootie" Cissell, 79, of Louisville, passed away Friday, December 19, 2003, at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was the former Alta L. Miller and a member of St. Ann Altar Sodality and the Golden Years Club at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the National Association of Senior Friends. She was a retired employee of the Jefferson County Board of Education. She is survived by her husband, George F. Cissell; a daughter, Ann Hickerson; two sons, Robert M. and George Raymond Cissell; two sisters, Virginia Mae Karger and Thelma Bischoff; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1020 E. Burnett Ave., with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Sunday at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison Avenues.
