Oswin Kidwell, 49, Bucyrus Native, Dies In Fort Wayne
Oswin Kidwell, 49, died in St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind. Saturday at 9:30 p.m. due to a heart attack. Mr. Kidwell had been in failing health for approximately three months.
The son of Charles E. and Mrs. Effie Kidwell Batton, he was born October 27, 1902 in Bucyrus, where he had lived his entire life except for the last four years when he lived in Fort Wayne.
Surviving are his wife, the former Gertrude Bast, whom he married in 1924, and two daughters, Mrs. Edward L. Truka, 810 W. Mary St., and Sharon, who is at home.
Also surviving are two grandchildren and two brothers, Charles and Wendall Kidwell of 406 1/2 N. Walnut St. and one sister, Mrs. James Charleston, 112 Bland Ave.
Mr. Kidwell was employed at the Swan Rubber Company for a number of years and was also employed at the J. E. Huggins garage. At the time of his death he was employed as a filling station attendant in Fort Wayne.
Burial will be made in the Catholic Cemetery of Fort Wayne after a funeral service which will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. Other funeral arrangements are unknown.

OSWIN D. KIDWELL
Oswin D. Kidwell, 49, of 1019 Swinney Ave., died at 9:30 a.m. yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital. He was an employe of Brouwer's Service Station and a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife Gertrude; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Truka, Bucyrus, Ohio, and Sharon, at home; his mother, Mrs. Effie Batton, Bucyrus; a sister, Mrs. Enid Charleston, Bucyrus; two brothers, Wayne, Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and Charles, Bucyrus; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Jule Schone Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be held there at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday and at St. Paul's Church at 9 a.m. the V. Rev. Msgr. John F. Nadolny officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
