- [S927] Obituary.
MISSOULA – On Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went into the arms of our Lord and savior. She was born in Beulah, North Dakota, on June 5, 1926, to Olga Schrenk and Gustav Binder. She married our dad Raymond Hoerner on Sept. 16, 1946, after he was discharged from the service. They were married 56 years when he passed away Dec. 24, 2002. They lived in North Dakota until 1951, when they moved to Missoula.
They had three sons, Gaylen (Jackie), Merle (Munde') and Russ (Nancy); nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother, one grandson and a daughter-in-law. She enjoyed her grandchildren and sons and family very much. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. She was employed at many places and owned the Health Food Store for 20 years. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards and traveling. She helped out at the Senior Center.
At her request, no formal services will be held.
Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in her name.
