She was also a member of the Women's Club of Belleville, past president of St. Clair County Garden Club, and member Emeritus of Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Helen volunteered with Meals on Wheels, participated in St. Paul's Women Fellowship, and Sunday Morning Breakfast Club.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Sauer; her second husband, Eugene Dahm; her parents, Henry and Ida, nee Brenner, Mohr; a daughter Evelyn, nee Sauer, Oesterle; a step daughter, Elaine, nee Dahm, Cary; a grandson, Jeff Holcomb; and a brother, Irvin Mohr.Surviving are her daughter; Shirley, nee Sauer, Holcomb of Belleville, Ill.; a son-in-law, Ken (Jo Ann) Oesterle; her grandchildren, Becky (Bernie) Taylor, Dennis Holcomb, Kevin (Jean Ellen) Oesterle, Keith (Carolyn) Oesterle, Scott Cary, Debbie Wright; great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.The family would like to thank St. Paul's Home for the wonderful care she receivedMemorials are appreciated to St Paul United Church of Christ and St. Paul's Home.Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Belleville, Ill.
