Bowen, 48, of Evansville, Ind., born to James and Vicky Moers on February 11, 1965, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Jami was a homemaker who loved watching NASCAR and Cowboys football, decorating, gardening, driving her yellow Hummer and visiting the beach. She also made it a priority to care for others and give to anyone who needed her. She attended Washington grade school, North High School and ITT Technical College. Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Jerry Bowen Jr.; her father, James A. Moers; sister, Julie Yates; daughters, Tara McBride and Keri Bowen; stepson, Landen Bowen; and stepgranddaughter, Nikole Bowen. Preceding her in death were her mother, Vicky Moers; her uncle, David Moers; and her brother, Jim Moers Jr. Friends may visit with the family from 4 until 7 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W.
