Pnbspnbspnbspnbsp Mr. Childs was a resident of Eunice as well as an avid hunter and fisherman.nbsp He was a veteran having served in the United States Army Air Corp. during World War II.nbspnbsp Mr. Childs retired with Ashy Construction as an oilfield supervisor where he worked for many years.P
Pnbspnbspnbspnbsp Survivors include his two sons Harry N. Childs of Eunice and Louis P. Childs, Jr. and his wife Pamela of Opelousas one brother, George Childs of Baton Rouge two sisters five grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.P
Pnbspnbspnbspnbsp Preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Marie Champagne Childsnbsp daughter, Peggy Ann McGee.Pnbspnbspnbspnbsp The family request that visitation hours be observed from 2 pm until 9pm Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Ardoins Funeral Home in Eunice and again on Friday, January 19, 2007 8am until time of services with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 pm Thursday evening.
