Norma S. Fitch
Norma S. Fitch, 68, a lifelong resident of Evansville, Ind., died April 26, 2006, in Green Bay, Wis., after a long vascular illness.
She was born November 11, 1937, to the late Charles L. Fitch Sr. and Blanche Marie (Crump) Fitch.
She graduated from Bosse High School in 1956.Norma worked as a typist. Most recently, she worked for the Warrick County Department of Economic Development and for 15 years was a transcriptionist/ administrative assistant for Developmental Diagnostics, Inc.She also worked for 15 years as a waitress at Raffi's Restaurants.Prior to those occupations, Norma worked at Keller-Crescent and Western Ribeye.She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Norma is survived by her brother, Charles (Leonard) Fitch Jr., and his special friend, Bonnie Cagle, both of Green Bay, Wis.; three nephews and their spouses, David and Beth Fitch, Green Bay, Wis., and their daughters, Katherine and Ellianna, Roger Steven Fitch and his fiancEe, Kayla Fitz, Arvada, Colo., and Mark and Wendy Brisbane, Wrightstown, Wis., and their children, Spencer and Kaili. She is further survived by her beloved dog, Tipper.
Norma was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Shirley Ann Fitch.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy and in view of Norma's love for animals, especially dogs.
The family expresses special thanks to the staff of St. Vincent Hospital, The Brown County Mental Health Center, Nursing Home Unit 8, and Hartland Hospice. Everyone worked to keep Norma pain free and were tireless in their care, affection, friendship and attentiveness to the very end.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Schauer & Schumacher Funeral Home, 340 S. Monroe Ave., with the Reverend Seth Richmond officiating. Entombment of cremated remains will be in Alexander Memorial Park in Evansville, Ind.
