Rex A Urban, 69, a former Findlay resident, died Tuesday afternoon in St Charles Hospital at Toledo. Mr. Urban had resided in Toledo for 31 years and four years ago retired from Kaiser-Jeep Corp.
He was born May 9, 1898 in Findlay to Lee and Myrtle (Harrison) Urban. His wife, Leota, survives as do two children, William of Perrysburg, and Mrs. Dorothy Jadlocki of Perrysburg and a step-daughter, Mrs. Joanne Shaffer of North Baltimore. There are 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Eidson, Jerry City, and Mrs. Lesta Gillespie, Oak Harbor.
He was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church, Toledo.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm today at the Worth-Clegg Funeral Home, Toledo, with the Rev Charles Williman officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in North Baltimore.
