Raymond P. Wagner
Raymond P. "Butch" Wagner, 83, of Baldwin, IL, formerly of Trenton, IL, born January 7, 1922, in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at Red Bud Nursing Home, Red Bud, IL. Mr. Wagner was a retired grain farmer. He also owned a tavern and worked at a brewery. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida, nee Bassler, Wagner; his parents, Paul and Larinda, nee Tribout, Wagner; a sister, Berneice (Jerry Sr.) Ulch; a brother, Jerome (Adaline) Wagner; a niece, Donna Ulch; and a nephew, Jerry Ulch Jr. He is survived by a sister-in-law, Kathleen Tribout of Baldwin, IL; two aunts, Aurelia (Babe) Willman and Kathryn Tribout, both of Belleville, IL; nephews, Steve (Janice) Wagner of Belleville, IL, Robert (Wilma) Wagner of Shiloh, IL, and Virgil (Adele) Tribout Jr. of Lakewood, FL; and cousins. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the Disabled American Veterans. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with the Rev. Dr. Arthur Tinge officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
