DAHM, James William "Jim" Age 78 of Dayton, died Thursday, September 1, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Leona Dahm, his wife of 47 years Peggy Dahm, 3 brothers Bob, Bill and Jerry, 1 sister Marilyn Dahm. Survived by daughter Karen (Steve) Naas of Englewood, son Chris (Ginger) of Dayton, 5 grandchildren Katy and Lauren Dahm, Patrick, Abby and Jillian Naas, 3 sisters Kathleen Dahm, Margaret (Dan) Krapf, Carol (Joe) Johnston, sisters-in-law Sandy Dahm and Mary Jo Dahm, 2 brothers Fred (Becky) and Denny, brothers-in-law Mike (Sandy) Monaghan, Bill (Mary Anne) Neary, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jim was a 1957 graduate of Chaminade High School and was a US Navy Veteran. He was a member of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception parish. Jim was a second generation owner of Dahm Brothers Co. Inc. along with brothers Bob, Bill and Fred, and retired in 2003. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at St. Charles Catholic Church 4500 Ackerman Blvd. Kettering OH 45429 by Father Dan Meyer. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America 4015 Executive Park Dr. Suite 350, Cincinnati, OH 45241.
