Norman Jacob
Norman C. Jacob, 96, of Belleville, IL, born June 4, 1910, in Belleville, IL, died Sunday, November 19, 2006, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, IL. Mr. Jacob was a retired stove mounter for Eagle Foundry and a founding partner of E-lite Tool & Dye Company. He was a member at St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church. Norman was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Belleville Deer Hunters Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula M., nee Hechenberger, Jacob; his parents, Charles and Josephine, nee Dammerich, Jacob; a brother, Stan Jacob; and two sisters, Dolores Hunt and Minerva Bloomer. He is survived by his two sons, Norman E. (Barbara) Jacob of Belleville, IL, and Michael D. (Stephanie) Jacob of Millstadt, IL; two daughters, Pat Bach and Theresa (Allen) Hartmann, both of Belleville, IL; a brother, Cleo Jacob of Belleville, IL; two sisters, Aurelia Herbert of Belleville, IL, and Fernell Talley of Cahokia, IL; ten grandchildren, Donna (Tom) Hall Recklein of Mascoutah, IL, Gary (Cathy) Bach of Millstadt, IL, Michelle (Eric) Endel of Midlothian, TX, Bryan (Simone) Jacob of Columbia, IL, Pamela (Alan) Wirth of Millstadt, IL, Eric (Kara) Jacob of Belleville, IL, Richard (Tracey) Hartman of Shiloh, IL, Jeannine Ryder of Belleville, IL, Ronald (Debra) Hartman of San Jaun, P.R., Janice (John) Wagner of Tampa, FL; and 22 great-grandchildren.
